Hey fam! My name is Ashley, and I’m a music journalist, writer, storyteller, culture historian, and vinyl lover. I’m really a proponent of all forms of physical media, as I feel that having tangible versions of art is true ownership. I created Music & Me originally as an outlet for my love and knowledge of music. However, it also reflects the need to preserve and share the history and importance of Black culture in all its forms, as well as its impact on popular culture in general. I hope you enjoy.
